The Floating Citadel

The Iron Dwarves have, since their arrival in the Uncharted Seas, been working on numerous ways to better defend themselves, new ways to secure lands once they have invaded and captured them. With forces often located in remote areas, a fortress stronghold that can be quickly erected was much called for. Dwarves being as they are, the masters of engineering and also highly competitive with each other, several designs were started. Eventually projects fell to the wayside, leaving one monstrous construction to win the day: the Guardian Class Floating Citadel. Once stationed, it gives you a 360...

A Darkness Approaches

Keeping the classic Shroud Mage design aesthetic, the Darkness Cruiser is a very interesting addition to the fleets of this race. At the rear of the vessel is a Chamber of Darkness, where several Shroud Mage Invokers [aka Magi] call upon elemental powers to bring death and destruction to their enemies. Cross Of Resin

Sometimes, when an idea sticks in your head, you just can’t get rid of it. That’s what happened when we had the planning meeting for the Mobile Airfields. One excited comment, and I found myself designing the Seydlitz Class Mobile Airfield as you see before you. I mean, who would have thought that a comment like… “hey, why don’t we make it look like a giant Iron Cross rolling across the battlefield” would get the boss so excited. As you can see, the idea stuck and I had to go away and make a giant Iron Cross that rolls over the battlefield, crushing all...

Not So Itsy…

When Lord Barnabas Draynes Sturgeon led his famous expedition to the fabled Vault, he took with him scientists and scholars from every nation, from every field of research and school of thought. Physicists, chemists, engineers, biologists, all of them taken to be a part of the utopia Sturgeon had envisioned, a future guided by reason and logic, free of nationalism and the petty squabbles of kingdoms and empires. Even after war broke out, and the realisation of that utopian vision halted for the time being, Sturgeon still remained faithful to the idea of a society guided by scholars. In...

Everything’s Bigger In Texas!

Somewhere above the mayhem of battle the deafening roar of massive engines echoes through the billowing smoke of fire and war. The massive tracked behemoths that already tower above the men on the field are themselves dwarfed by this mechanical monstrosity. Land Ships, previously the giants of the battlefield, pale into insignificance below the enormous belted tracks of the Alamo Class Mobile Airfield. But what else would you expect when an entire military base has been uprooted and mobilised. This is the largest, and most fearsome, beast to crawl forth from the factories of the Federated...
