Mercs In Action!

A few weeks ago we asked lucky owners of the ‘Black Wolf’ submersible to send in photos of their painted model. We also promised to feature the best ones on our website, so here they are!

Mark Daniels and Bill Etherington both took inspiration from the studio paint scheme, and created two truly excellent looking models. Mark commented on its great performance in a battle between the Covenant of Antarctica and Federated States of America, and Bill said he enjoyed painting it immensely; which is always great to hear. Both efforts undoubtedly stand out on the Game Board.

Regular contributor to our Community ‘Youlooklikeanail’ used similar colours to our studio model to create a very different effect with a striking dispersion pattern. Here it is lining up against a Republique of France Magenta Class Mk I Battleship for the double whammy!

Andrew Morgan John has yet to field his Black Wolf. Instead, he has been spending much of his time preparing it for battle. He has used a great looking camouflage colour pattern with smooth transitioning between colours. We think it’s fair to say that his patience has paid off.

Finally, Bart Garey’s simple design is very effective against the sea-base, which has clearly had a lot of attention given to it.
